THE MONROE CENTER FOR THE ARTS IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT A NEW WEBSITE WILL BE COMING SOON. PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON!

Monroe Center for the Arts is the heart of our community. Since 1990, this former Levelor Blinds factory has been home to the creations of artists and the businesses of entrepreneurs.

Multi-disciplinary art center, Monroe Center for the Arts houses artists, artisans, photographers, performing artists, fashion and jewelry designers and film companies. These artists offer workshops and classes to introduce both young and old to the arts.

The onsite businesses of the Monroe Center for the Arts include printers, floral designers, architects, puppet makers, interior designers, music and dance instructors and  pilates studios.

Our Arts building will soon house a newly designed gallery space dedicated to rotating art exhibitions throughout the year.
The Monroe Center has recently added a brand new 200 seat professional Theatre on the Second Floor. Monroe TheatreSpace is already home to three major Theatre Companies who hold all their performances here.

Throughout the year, we hold open studio tours, gallery exhibits, film screenings, art and movement classes, educational workshops, live music, lectures. Our exciting new retail wing is up and running. Sample the exotic sandwiches and rare cheese at The Cheese Store.

Here at the Monroe Center for the Arts, you'll find an engaging atmosphere for viewing, enjoying, studying and debating.

Please note, Open Studio Days are held quarterly, on a Sunday. Check out our Online Events Calendar for Open Studio Day and other event dates.
