Thank you for visiting My Little Stinky! It’s been 10 years since I started this business I think it’s time I write an about section. When I was 5 my dad bought a bakery in our town{Bayonne}. I was so so excited I thought it was so cool until I was 10 and we all had to work weekends and holidays. That’s right as young as 10 I was in my parent’s bakery designing cakes, dipping cookies, making boxes etc. I honestly hated it as a teen but I didn’t realize my dad was instilling a work ethic in us that I would later use. I would always scream I would never ever own my own business it was too stressful.

Out of college I started working at a waterfront restaurant in Hoboken called Lua. I was a hostess then later was promoted to event planner/manager. I worked there for 7 years I loved it so much I always told my boss he was never getting rid of me. Then it happened. I was alone in the restaurant decorating for fall when the street collapsed into the Hudson river right in front of my eyes. It was the craziest thing I had ever seen the 911 dispatcher was even confused. Sadly we were shut down.

I had done one cake smash session two weeks before for a friend. I knew everyone would think I was crazy but I wanted to start my own child photography business. Sure enough everyone thought I was crazy except my boyfriend of two months{now husband}. Ofcourse everyone thought the name was even crazier but it had significance to me. When my first nephews, niece and little cousins were born I always called them my little stinky.

I started this business literally from my basement bedroom where I lived with 3 other roommates. To say these people were insanely patient was an understatement! They dealt with A LOT of noise and most worked nights.

My Little Stinky Photography really took off! I cant believe it has been 10 years and the last 4 years my clients truly helped me with my fertility journey. You can read about my fertility journey https://www.facebook.com/MyLittleStinky/photos/a.187383074616891/2459513260737183/
